Hydrous Benzoyl Peroxide is generally used to treat mild or moderate acne. There are few acne producing bacteria, which this medication stops from growing. The gel is prepared by mixing Hydrous Benzoyl Peroxide in Glycerol and Acrylates copolymer. Glycerol prevents dry skin.
Side Effects
A few know side reactions to hydrous benzoyl peroxide are
- itching
- peeling
- reddened skin
- irritation
As far as glycerol is concerned, it is quite safe. Though excess may occur in itching, redness, and burning.
Usage
Take the gel on tip of your finger. Then apply gently on the acne. Try to cover the whole acne. Apply in on the night.
