Product Description:

CALAM is a medication, available in glycerine-based lotion mainly used for soothing & cooling action. The medication is composed of  Calamine 15%, Sodium Citrate 0.50%, Zinc Oxide 5%, Liquified Phenol 0.50%, Bentonite 3%, Glycerine 5% & Rose Water.

• Calamine is used to treat itching and skin irritation caused by chickenpox, insect bites or stings, measles, eczema, sunburn, poison ivy, and other minor skin conditions
• Sodium citrate acts as a buffering agent in cosmetics products to control their pH levels.
• Zinc oxide works like a gentle astringent that also comes with antiseptic action. Zinc Oxide act as a key sunscreen ingredient that is effective in providing protection from UV light.
• Liquified Phenol has antiseptic properties and also used to remove layers of dead skin.
• Bentonite removes toxins from the body and helps treat oily skin.
• Glycerin is commonly used with occlusives, another type of moisturizing agent, to trap the moisture that it draws into the skin
• Rose Water helps maintain the skin’s pH balance, and also controls excess oil. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that can help reduce the redness of irritated skin, get rid of acne, dermatitis, and eczema

Usage:

• Use this medication on the skin only. Follow all directions on the product package, or use as directed by your doctor.
• Moisten a cotton ball or similar applicator with the lotion.
• Apply lotion to the affected skin area with the cotton ball.
• Let the lotion dry on the skin.
• Repeat as often as needed.
• Avoid getting this medication in the eyes, mouth, nose, and genital/anal areas. If you do get the medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water
