Product Description:

CALAM – LP is a medication that is available in glycerine-based lotion for soothing & cooling action. It is composed of Calamine 8%, Liquid Paraffin 10% & Aloe Vera. CALAM – LP extends the support of calamine, zinc oxide & bentonite.

• Calamine is used as it has a cooling and soothing effect on the skin for symptomatic relief of the itching. It also contains the active ingredient zinc oxide, which has antiseptic properties and helps prevent infection from scratching.
• Aloe vera Gel is used as an emollient, to hydrate, replenish and condition the skin. It intensely nourishing and protecting non-greasy cream moisturizer. It absorbs easily, helping to condition, soften and smooth the skin, and prevent dryness, leaving skin moisturized for up to 24 hours.
• Liquid paraffin is used as a moisturizer in skin preparations. It provides a layer of oil on the surface of the skin and prevents water evaporation from the skin surface. Regular use of moisturizers restores the skin`s smoothness; softness and flexibility by helping the skin retain moisture.

Usage:

• Use this medication on the skin only. Follow all directions on the product package, or use as directed by your doctor.
• Moisten a cotton ball or similar applicator with the lotion.
• Apply lotion to the affected skin area with the cotton ball.
• Let the lotion dry on the skin.
• Repeat as often as needed.
• Avoid getting this medication in the eyes, mouth, nose, and genital/anal areas. If you do get the medication in those areas, flush with plenty of water
