Product Description

The lotion constitutes of Permethrin (5%) and Cetrimide (0.01%). Permethrin is used as on skin for problems like Scabies and lice. In these problems, you may get irritation by the small insects called mites. The permethrin paralyzes them and kills their eggs. The drug belongs to the category of pyrethrins. Talking about Cetrimide, it is a disinfectant and antiseptic used to prevent infections. It is prescribed in case of

• Seborrheic Dermatitis and Scalp psoriasis
• Minor burns
• Wound cleansing

Side Effects

Permethrin is a very safe drug. Sos safe that it can be applied to a 2-month-old child. Patients may feel rash and irritation on the infected part of the skin. Known side effects of Cetrimeide are:

• Rash
• Redness of skin
• Skin Swelling
• Itching
• Numbness where the medicine was applied
• Burning sensation (Rare)
• Skin blistering (Rare)

Usage

It is a safe lotion. Pregnant women and children can use these products. Only for external use only. A consulting doctor is advised. You must apply this lotion from head to toe and leave it for 8-14 hours then rinse. You can apply it twice if live mites reappear. When applying this lotion avoid getting the cream into your eyes, mouth, nose or vagina.
