Minoxidil Topical Solution USP 5.0% w/v is a spray solution used to treat common hereditary hair loss. This medication is not used for patchy hair loss. It stimulates hair growth and slows balding. It has no effect on receding hairlines. This solution belongs to a class of drugs called vasodilators. This medication is generally safe and suitable for people but may have some side effects. People under 18 and over 65 should not use it . Minoxidil starts working in the right way, but it will take 2-4 months to get results. The spray solution is a vasodilator that treats hair loss and it opens the potassium channels and widens the blood to increase blood flow and promotes hair growth.

Direction of uses:

Do not blow dryer after using Minoxidil 5% w/v solution.

1.       The maximum dose of Minoxidil 5% w/v solution is 2 ml.
2.       Apply 1 ml twice a day to your affected scalp area.
3.       Discontinue if no improvement after 1 year of use.
4.       If hair growth must occurs, use must be continued for continued hair growth, if you may stop re-grown hair may disappear within 3-4 months.
