Bilastine 20 Mg Tablets

BILASTINE 20 MG Tablet contains bilastine which refers to the group of medicine known as Antihistamines. It is used to relive the symptoms of fever (such as itching, sneezing, stuffy nose and red watery eyes). This medication is used to treat itchy skin rashes. Hives is a skin rash that may result from allergy which is triggered by reaction to food, medicine or other products etc. It is not recommended for use in patients having a history of irregular heartbeat. This tablet can be taken one hour before two hour after food, but take it at correct time for more benefit. Bilastine 20 mg tablet works by stopping the action of natural substance called histamine produced in your body that causes allergic reaction. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a long period of time.

This medication is used to treat many different allergic conditions. It works by lowering your immune system response to these condition and prevents the release of substance in your body that can cause inflammation. Direction for use:

Swallow the tablet it as whole water, do not crush, break or chew it. Oral Solution: Shake the bottle before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack. The dose and duration should be followed as prescribed by your doctor. It is best to take it at a fixed time. It is important that is medicine should not be taken more than recommended dose.

Storage:

Store in cool and dry place and keep away from sunlight.

Precautions:

1.   This medication should not be used during pregnancy as precautionary measure.

3.   Do not increase the drowsiness produced by alcohol. Consult the doctor before using it.
4.   It should be used with caution in breastfeeding women.
5.   If patient is suffering from moderate to serve kidney impairment, avoid dosages of the tablets and consult doctor.
6.   If patients having a history of irregular heartbeat and it should be used with caution in patients suffering from heart problems or a family history of heart problems.
7.   Not recommended for use in children (less than 12 years of age).
