COVATE – MF is a medicated ointment composed of Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% + Salicylic Acid 3.00% + Urea 10.00% + Lactic Acid 3.00% & Sodium Lactate Solution Equ. to Lactic Acid 2.00%. It is commonly used for treating skin-related problems such as Psoriasis, Lichen planus, Lichenified eczema, allergic dermatitis, rash, itching, redness, and Dry hyperkeratotic steroid-responsive dermatoses.
Clobetasol propionate is a topical (for the skin) steroid used to treat the inflammation and itching caused by a number of skin conditions such as allergic reactions, eczema, and psoriasis.
Salicylic acid is a keratolytic (peeling agent). Salicylic acid causes the shedding of the outer layer of skin. Salicylic acid topical (for the skin) is used in the treatment of acne, dandruff, seborrhea, or psoriasis, and to remove corns, calluses, and warts.
Urea is used to treat dry/rough skin conditions (e.g., eczema, psoriasis, corns, callus) and some nail problems (e.g., ingrown nails). It may also be used to help remove dead tissue in some wounds to help wound healing.
Lactic acid is specifically used to treat hyperpigmentation, age spots, and other factors that contribute to a dull and uneven complexion
Sodium lactate act as a humectant basically uses as a moisturizer.
Side Effects:
Burning, itching, stinging, redness, or irritation may occur.
Usage:
Use this product as directed.
Follow all directions on the product package and prescription label.

Rub in well until absorbed.
