Clobetasol Propionate & Salicylic Acid Ointment

COVATE-S6 % is a medicated ointment composed of Clobetasol Propionate 0.05% & Salicylic Acid 6%. It is used on the skin to treat itching, redness, and swelling caused by some skin conditions. The ointment provides potent steroids for hyperkeratotic disorders. It helps to make the underlying layers more accessible to the anti-inflammatory steroid. • Clobetasol Propionate is a corticosteroid. It reduces the swelling, itching, and redness that can occur in these types of conditions. This medication is used to treat a variety of skin conditions (e.g., eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, allergies, rash).
• Salicylic acid topical (for the skin) is used in the treatment of acne, dandruff, seborrhea, or psoriasis, and to remove corns, calluses, and warts.
